This tutorial covers the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just right before Thotar provides a taming Rod for the Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar will give you a series of three taming rods, each one differs and allows you tame beasts in the next order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and eventually an Armored Scorpid.

Once you've done the taming Portion of The search chain, you will have to head to Orgrimmar and talk to Ormak Grimshot in the Valley of Honor as a way to unlock dig this your companion pet managing abilities: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive Pet; and Beast Training.
