This guideline addresses the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just just before Thotar provides a taming Rod for the Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar will provide you with a number of 3 taming rods, each differs and makes it possible for you tame beasts in the following order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and at last an Armored Scorpid.

After you have done the taming Section of The search chain, you need to head to Orgrimmar and talk to Ormak Grimshot within the Valley of Honor so as to unlock your pet handling skills: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive Pet; and troll hunter pet quest Beast Training.

Finally, do not forget to go to the Pet Trainer and get the Pet abilities that you need to give to your companion pet.
